The GATE orientation video will help you learn more about the GATE scholarship and whether self-employment is the right path for you.  The video walks through the GATE program and illustrates some of the risks and rewards of starting a small business. You will need to view the orientation video before you apply for GATE. 

If you are located at one of the 8 GATE sites, you may be able to attend a group orientation session led by your GATE counselor.  Orientation is also available for individual viewing at your local Joblink Career Center—just tell them you are interested in Growing America Through Entrepreneurship.
